Job Title: Teacher – 16–19 Hub
Pay rate: £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Full-time

 

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher for the 16–19 Hub in the Stratford-upon-Avon area for an immediate start.

 

This inclusive and forward-thinking setting supports young people aged 16–19 with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs. Learners are encouraged to develop the confidence, independence, and life skills they need to succeed beyond school. A background or interest in Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) and/or music would be highly beneficial to enrich the curriculum offer.

Job requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have a valid child/adult enhanced DBS
• Ability to pass through compliance checks efficiently
• Experience teaching post-16 learners and students with SEND
• A passion for preparing young people for adulthood and independence
• Knowledge or interest in DofE and music would be an advantage

 

Role responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to 16–19 learners
• Support the development of functional, vocational, and independence skills
• Work collaboratively with the wider school and external partners
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage confidence, resilience, and personal growth in every student
