Job Title: Teacher – 16–19 Hub
Pay rate: £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Full-time

Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher for the 16–19 Hub in the Stratford-upon-Avon area for an immediate start.

This inclusive and forward-thinking setting supports young people aged 16–19 with a diverse range of Special Educational Needs. The school takes pride in creating a learning environment where individuality is celebrated, and every student is supported to reach their full potential. Learners are encouraged to develop the confidence, independence, and life skills they need to succeed beyond school. A background or interest in Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) and/or music would be highly beneficial to enrich the curriculum offer.

Job requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have a valid child/adult enhanced DBS
• Ability to pass through compliance checks efficiently
• Experience teaching post-16 learners and students with SEND
• A passion for preparing young people for adulthood and independence
• Knowledge or interest in DofE and music would be an advantage

Role responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to 16–19 learners
• Support the development of functional, vocational, and independence skills
• Work collaboratively with the wider school and external partners
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage confidence, resilience, and personal growth in every student
